* 26-29 April 2004. 36th Annual Air Pollution Workshop. Rhinelander,
Wisconsin, USA. The first Air Pollution Workshop was held in 1969
at Pennsylvania State University. The purpose of the Workshop was
to provide an informal and collaborative environment for scientists
and other interested individuals (such as government and industry
representatives) to discuss research results and information needs
related to air pollution effects on an annual basis. The 36th Air
Pollution Workshop, will include presentations and informal
discussions of current research topics and issues related to
effects of air pollution and other environmental stressors on
agricultural crops, forests, and natural ecosystems. Of particular
interest are interactions of global climate change with more
regional effects of pollutants, such as ozone and nitrogen
deposition. Additional information is available at
www.asl-associates.com/apworkshop/ or by contacting Dr. David
Karnosky of Michigan Technological University (karnosky@mtu.edu).
The deadline for pre-registration is 31 December 2003. To submit an
