I'm definantly not as active as one should be, but I do try to use household products that are environmentally safe.
Does anyone have tips or suggestions of items to use or not to use in day to day practices?

I grew up in New York City. And being poor in Manhattan means that you depend heavily on Mass Transit! Now that I live in Southern California, USA having a car is a way of life. I sort of own a SUV so I know how much of a strain these type of vehicles put on our environment.
Being that I'm athletic I tend not to use my car a lot. Mostly to save money, but it is good for the ecosystem as well. I run whenever I can, and distances less than 3 miles can be walked or bicycled to.

do you really think all the new hybrid cars will really help keep the environment clean. The new accord hybrid has 227 hp. I think companies do it just to attract people with the low gas mileage while the exaust is just as bad.

contact your local nuclear society representative and tell them that you support a nuclear power plant close to your home
